Meet Hagan Wright
Hagan is a native Texan with a deep understanding of how eminent domain and condemnation can affect a landowner’s property whether that is a residential, commercial or industrial property or a generational family farm or ranch.
As a youth Hagan was deeply involved in the livestock industry through both 4-H and FFA, and his family’s ties to agriculture remain strong to this day, with property still held in Texas and a continued dedication to supporting the next generation.
Hagan spent much of his life in West Texas before going on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management from Texas Tech University and his law degree from Texas A&M University School of Law.
As an associate attorney at Gattis Law Firm, Hagan brings this background to the preparation of a wide range of legal documentation and assisting in all stages of trial preparation.
Prior to joining the firm, Hagan served as counsel for the Brazos River Authority, where he gained substantial experience in water law, real property, eminent domain, and contract matters. He also represented municipalities and other local governmental entities in North Texas as both a prosecutor and municipal law attorney, advising on land use, ordinances, open meetings, and public information matters.
He developed a thorough and practical understanding of the legal frameworks, regulatory requirements, and real world considerations that govern how governmental entities operate, make decisions, and interact with the public.
